ประวัติภาควิชาจุลชีววิทยา

ภาควิชาจุลชีววิทยาก่อตั้งขึ้นตั้งแต่ปี พ.ศ. 2520 โดยเริ่มเป็นสาขาวิชาจุลชีววิทยาในคณะครุศาสตร์ อุตสาหกรรมและวิทยาศาสตร์ ให้บริการการสอนวิชาพื้นฐานด้านวิทยาศาสตร์ และชีววิทยาทั่วไป ให้กับนักศึกษา วิทยาศาสตร์ชั้นปีที่ 1 ทุกภาควิชาในคณะครุศาสตร์อุตสาหกรรมและวิทยาศาสตร์ โดยภาควิชามีการพัฒนาด้าน การศึกษาดังนี้

    พุทธศักราช 2520

    เป็นสาขาวิชาจุลชีววิทยา ในคณะครุศาสตร์อุตสาหกรรมและวิทยาศาสตร์

  •  

    พุทธศักราช 2525

    ได้เปิดดำเนินการสอนหลักสูตรระดับปริญญาตรี สาขาวิชาจุลชีววิทยา

  •  

    พุทธศักราช 2528

    ได้รับการจัดตั้งเป็นภาควิชาจุลชีววิทยา ในคณะครุศาสตร์อุตสาหกรรมและวิทยาศาสตร์ ตามประกาศมหาวิทยาลัย เรื่อง การแบ่งส่วนราชการในสถาบันเทคโนโลยี พระจอมเกล้าธนบุรี (ฉบับที่ 6) พ.ศ. 2528 เมื่อวันที่ 25 ตุลาคม พ.ศ. 2528 และลงใน ราชกิจจานุเบกษา เมื่อวันที่ 31 ตุลาคม พ.ศ. 2528

    ได้มีการก่อตั้งเป็นภาควิชาจุลชีววิทยา ในคณะวิทยาศาสตร์

    เปิดหลักสูตรระดับปริญญาโท สาขาวิชาจุลชีววิทยาประยุกต์

    พุทธศักราช 2547

    เปิดหลักสูตรระดับปริญญาเอก สาขาวิชาวิทยาศาสตร์ชีวภาพ

    พุทธศักราช 2553 - ปัจจุบัน

    ปรับปรุงหลักสูตรระดับปริญญาเอก สาขาวิทยาศาสตร์ชีวภาพ เป็นหลักสูตรนานาชาติ

ปัจจุบัน ภาควิชาจุลชีววิทยา คณะวิทยาศาสตร์ มจธ. จัดการเรียนการสอนภาคบรรยายที่ตึกจุลชีววิทยา และจัดห้องปฏิบัติการเดิมให้เป็นห้องวิจัยเฉพาะทาง ส่วนในการสอนปฏิบัติในปัจจุบันนี้ได้จัดการเรียนการสอนที่ ตึกปฏิบัติการพื้นฐานวิทยาศาสตร์ มีเปิดสอนในระดับปริญญาตรี 2 หลักสูตร ปริญญาโท 1 หลักสูตร และปริญญา เอก 1 หลักสูตร ดังนี้

  • สาขาวิชาวิทยาศาสตร์ชีวภาพ (หลักสูตรนานาชาติ)

History of the Department of Microbiology

The Department of Microbiology was established in 1977 as a branch of Microbiology in the Faculty of Education, Industry and Science. The department provided teaching services for basic science subjects and general biology to all first-year students in the Faculty. The department has evolved over the years as follows.

    Year 2520

    Existed as a subject branch within the Faculty of Education, Industry and Science.

  •  

    Year 1977

    Began offering Bachelor of Science (Microbiology).

  •  

    Year 1985

    Formally established as the Department of Microbiology within the Faculty of Education, Industry and Science according to University Announcement titled “Division of Departments at the Thonburi Technology Institute (6th issue) 1985,” dated 25th October 1985. Published in the Royal Thai Government Gazette on 31st October 1986.

  •  

    Year 1990

    Established as the Department of Microbiology within the Faculty of Science.

  •  

    Year 1996

    Began offering Masters in Applied Microbiology.

  •  

    Year 2004

    Began offering Ph.D. in Life Science

  •  

    Year 2010 - Present

    Amended Ph.D. in Life Science as an international course.

Presently, the Department of Microbiology lectures at the Microbiology Building and reorganized the former laboratories into a specialized research space. For practical lab instructions, the department utilizes the Science Laboratories Building. The Department currently offers the following
